Author, Speaker, Course Creator, and Founder of The Anxious Alpha™.

But more importantly? I’m someone who knows what it’s like to live with anxiety that steals your breath, hijacks your peace, and makes you feel like you’re stuck in survival mode.

For years, I battled panic, racing thoughts, and the shame of wondering if I was broken. (Spoiler: I wasn’t broken — and neither are you.)

 

The turning point came when I discovered Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and began weaving in other powerful tools — mindfulness, somatic techniques, NLP, affirmations, boundaries, and nervous system regulation.

Instead of fighting anxiety, I learned how to command it. And from that messy, painful, brave journey came something new: The A.L.P.H.A. Method™.

I remember reading this quote when I was in the thick of anxiety (and it almost broke me). I remember thinking I was GOING to come out on the other side, no matter what.

And once I did, I knew that my purpose in life was to help other women through the fire. The method I created handed my life back to me, and I knew in my heart that's what I was going to do...I was going to hand other women their lives back.

 Q: What inspired you to create The Anxious Alpha™?
A: Living with anxiety myself. I was tired of just “managing” it — I wanted a way to command it. That’s how the A.L.P.H.A. Method™ was born.

Q: What does being an “Alpha” mean to you?
A: It’s not about being the loudest in the room. It’s about being the leader of your own life — steady, grounded, and brave, even when fear shows up.

Q: Coffee or tea?
A: Coffee in the morning (with half and half, please). 

Q: One thing people would be surprised to know about you?
A: I’m equal parts homebody and adventurer. I love being cozy with my dogs, but I’ll also hop on a plane at a moment’s notice.

Q: What’s your go-to calming ritual?
A: Guided relaxation

Q: What do you want every woman with anxiety to know?
A: You are not broken. Anxiety doesn’t make you weak — it proves how strong your nervous system is. And you can learn to lead it instead of fearing it.

Q: Who’s in your “pack” at home?
A: My husband Dave, my daughter Carly, and our three dogs — Cocoa, Biscuit, and Koda. (Yes, it’s chaos. Yes, I love it.)

Q: If you could give your younger self one message, what would it be?
A: Stop waiting to feel “ready” — take the next brave step anyway.

Q: What’s your favorite part of this work?
A: Watching women go from “I can’t do this” to “I can’t believe I just did that.”  That transformation never gets old.

Q: What’s next for The Anxious Alpha™?
A: More tools, more community, and building Alpha Academy — a space where women can lead in every area of life: anxiety, ADHD, work, creativity, and energy.
